The person who knew is the person who died.
Whoever arranged the burial holds the details — which cemetery, which section, who to call. Often they are the next to go, and the details go with them.
The plot number is on a folded certificate in a drawer.
Section, row, lot, grave. It is written down exactly once, on paper, in a house that will one day be cleared out by someone who does not know what they are looking at.
“Somewhere near the big oak” is not an address.
Ashes scattered on a hillside, a memorial tree, a reef, a stretch of coast. Nothing is marked, and the family memory of the spot drifts a little further every year.

You need a name, a place, and — if you have it — the plot number. If you do not have the plot number yet, record the rest now and add it when the cemetery office gets back to you.

Say who it is for
A person or a pet. Their name, their dates, how they were related to you, and as much of their story as you want to write.
Mark the place
Search for the cemetery or site, or stand at the spot and capture the GPS. Then add the plot number from the certificate — section, row, lot, grave.
Add photographs
Whatever you have to hand. You can come back and add more at any point, and so can the family you invite.
Choose who can see it
Only you, only the family you invite, or anyone with the link. There is no default — the form will not let you past until you have decided.

Stand where they rest and capture the spot from your phone, or place the pin on a map later from home. Ten kinds of resting place, plus an “other” for one we haven't thought of.
Find It Again
Open the memorial when you arrive and a compass arrow points at the plot, with the distance and walking time counting down as you go. For the drive there, one tap hands you to Google Maps.
FootPrints Messaging
Write a message and seal it to a place. It stays locked until the person you sent it to is standing there, with a hint if you want to help them find it.
Family Conversations
A private chat on each memorial, live as people type. Only the owner and invited family can read or post — and you can invite someone who does not have an account yet.
A Page That Keeps Growing
Every visit adds to the memorial: a timeline grouped by week, month and year, with a photo, a note and how the visit felt. Light a candle and it glows there for seven days.

The AI & voice features need your plan and your own opt-in, which you give once in Settings and can withdraw at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. It has no expiry date and asks for no card. You get 3 memorials, 5 photos and a GPS pin on each one, and you can stay there for good. Premium lifts those limits and adds FootPrints, time capsules, and weather and tide data. Starting free costs you nothing later — upgrading from your Billing page carries everything across.
Nothing is deleted, hidden, or locked. Cancelling puts you back on the Free plan and every memorial you have made stays exactly as it is — you and the family you invited can still read it, visit it and add to it. The Free limits apply only to new work: you would not be able to create a 4th memorial or add a 6th photo to one until you subscribe again.
Yes, from the Billing page, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Annual is ten months of the monthly price for twelve months of use. The change takes effect at your next billing date.
You can cancel at any time and your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Beyond that we handle refunds case by case rather than by a blanket rule — write to us and tell us what happened. This matches our Terms; we would rather say so plainly than advertise a policy we have not written down.
Cemeteries, funeral homes and memorial parks that want to manage many memorials in one place — an admin dashboard, bulk CSV import, visit analytics, and staff accounts. You can put your logo and brand colour on that admin console; the public memorial pages families visit are not branded yet, and we would rather say so than let you find out after you pay. To be straight with you: no organization is using it yet. If you run one, you would be the first, and we will build around what you actually need.
Four of them, all on Premium and Business: writing help when the words will not come, search across your own stories by meaning rather than keyword, voice memories that are transcribed for you, and a memorial read aloud. Every one of them is OFF until you turn it on — the plan alone does not enable them. You opt in once in Settings and can withdraw at any time, and nothing is sent anywhere until you do. We list this here rather than in the small print because a plan that quietly implied consent would be the wrong way to sell it.
Payments run through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. Your card details are entered on Stripe and never touch our servers, so we could not store them if we wanted to.
Three things you may have seen on other memorial sites and will not find on ours, because we have not built them: augmented-reality overlays over the camera, alerts that fire when you drive near a resting place, and offline maps. Our mobile apps are written but have not been released. On the Business plan, your logo and brand colour appear in your own admin console but not yet on the public memorial pages families visit. And legacy letters and time capsules are delivered on a date you choose — we do not offer a "send this when I die" trigger, because nothing in the product can know that.
